Washington DC – Foggy Bottom: John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts – Don Quixote

Don Quixote, by sculptor Aurelio Teno, was dedicated outside the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on June 3, 1976. The 15-foot tall bronze and Colmenar stone sculpture was presented by their Majesties King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain, as a gift of the Government of Spain for the American Bicentennial.
